To try this breathing you can either sit or lie flat in a comfortable position.
Here is a brief breathing method :
4-7-8 Breathing Method:
Breathe into your diaphragm (just imagine a balloon inflating below your rib cage)
Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds (quietly)
Hold the breath in for 7 seconds
Breathe out through your mouth for 8 seconds (audibly)
While breathing, try to focus only on your breaths(watch carefully-the in and out movement)
Inhale : 4 breaths
Retain : 7 breaths
Exhale : 8 breaths
Inhale through nose
Exhale though mouth.
When you exhale through mouth try to pursue your lips to make your lungs work harder.
Let the sound be audible to you when you breathe out.
During Exhalation pull your abdomen inwards and don't bulge your stomach during Exhalation.

- Children below 12 yrs don't retain the breath practice normal breathing
